911 Launches New Site
The Texas Commission on State Emergency Communications (CSEC - 911) launched a new design for their Web site on September 25, 2002.
We launched a complete re-design and re-architecture of their Web site, which included building the site around SMS, our site management system. This gives their staff the capability to maintain the frequently changing content on their site, thereby offering them significant cost savings over having us make those frequent updates.
Among the many services their new site provides are:
- Auto-notification that notifies sub-agencies and regional Councils of Government about the latest information on the Commission Notebook and Corresponence
- Catalog Administration tool that allows agencies and councils to purchase educational and promotional material through a secure administrative interface
- Accounting/Finance Reporting Tool is s reporting tool for agencies and councils to report quarterly expenses through a secure administrative interface
- An information source about the status of the 911 network for telephone companies
- Ability to edit their Conference Registration Form
- Zipcode/Public Educator Lookup Administration
